The Biotope Group

The biotope group, which was founded in the school year 2022/23, would like to promote biodiversity at the OG and create a beautiful place to linger that can also be used during lessons.

To this end, we created a natural pond in the summer of 2023, planted it and are now eagerly waiting to see which animal species appear. Several dragonfly species, numerous other water insects and even a common toad have already been among our guests.

In the new school year 2023/24, we will continue to design – a bridge, information boards, a sand habitat and much more are planned.
